Olivia's First Haircut

I know most people say you wait until a baby's 1st Birthday to cut their hair, but when you are growing a mullet, somethings gotta give! Olivia is having her 6 month pictures made today so last night we decided to give her hair a little trim. Madi was devastated that we were cutting Olivia hair, I guess she thought we were shaving her head. Thanks to Aunt Shell for the cut! You did great and Olivia still has 2 ears and a head full of hair!!!

As you can see, we needed to even it up!

Happy 1/2 year Birthday Olivia!!

Olivia turned 6 months old on Sunday, I can hardly believe it. These last 6 months have been so amazing, watching Olivia grow and begin to develop a personality of her own. In the last few weeks she has done lots of things: eaten all Stage 1 fruits and veggies, started to scoot and get anything she wants (watch out world), and realized she has a voice, and a loud one at that! If she grunts or screams, she WILL get someones attention!

Meeting the Tiger

We had our first opportunity to take Olivia to Death Valley and meet the Tiger on Sunday. We went with Michelle, Barry, Madi and Grant and this was probably the last time all three kids will be together at Death Vally for a couple of years. I don't think Olivia and Grant will be going to any games this year!

February 17, 2008

Olivia Michelle Barker came into this world weighing in at 7lb 0oz, 201/2 inches long. After a wonderful pregnancy and delivery we were so excited to meet our baby girl.

March 20, 2008

Timothy Grant Duvall was born. Grant and Olivia have been best buds from the get go. They spend lots of time together. Michelle and I have had so much fun on maternity leave together. We have had countless shopping trips, lunch dates and great memories! We always kidnap GanGan to go with us.

April 20th, 2008

We had Olivia dedicated at church. We were blessed to have lots of friends and family in attendance. She was a perfect angel for the dedication. Slept until time for us to take her up front. She was wide eyed while Ryan our pastor walked her around the church and she loved it when Kristen Vincent sang a song for her.

May, 2008

If you haven't noticed Olivia looks just like her daddy. We are having so much fun with her. What did we do before she was here???








June, 2008

Olivia's first beach trip. We went to Holden Beach with Josh's family. We had a great time and Olivia had many first. She rolled over and starting laughing out loud. We took lots of pictures and videos and made lots of family memories. Olivia was spoiled all week by her Grandma Teresa, Papa Lamar, Aunt April, Aunt Kristal, Uncle Jimmy and Uncle Jon. We also celebrated Father's Day at the beach. This was Josh's First Father's Day. Olivia wore her I love Daddy shirt. Josh is an awesome father and Olivia loves her daddy. They spend lots of time together every other weekend while I work.





July, 2008

We started Olivia on solid foods this month. This was her first time eating Green Peas. She loved them. We have now tried peas, carrots and green beans. Olivia loves spending time in her exerciser, Jenny jumper and with anyone that will hold her. When she smiles, she smiles with her whole face! Life is great!!!

Getting Started

Thought I would start a blog to keep family and friends updated on our little moon pie (as her aunt shell calls her). Olivia is growing like a weed. This will definitely be a work in progress so bare with me.
