Tis the Season

We decorated the tree last night and Olivia loved it. The joy and excitement in her eyes, was priceless. The only bad thing is, that if an ornament had a bell hanging from it, she pulled it off!!! Now we have little bells all over the house. Josh and I look forward to this Christmas Season with Olivia and the joy that she brings!

House update.....

It is so exciting to watch our new house go up. We hope to be finished sometime in early March. We also have a contract on our house and hope to close in mid January. So what does that mean.....the Barker's will be homeless!!!!!

Pumpkin Patch

GanGan and I decided to take the two wild ones to the Pumpkin Patch! Grant thought all the pumpkins were balls and tried to throw them! Olivia calls them pumpins!

Sesame Street Live

Josh and I, along with Michelle and Barry took the kids to see Sesame Street Live! They had a blast. Olivia stood on my lap and danced and clapped for the first 20 minutes! She loved it!!!

Go Go

We have a future cheerleader on our hands! All Olivia wants to do is "Go Go"! That is what she call her pompoms. We take them Wal-Mart, we eat with them, we carry them everywhere. Last night she took them to bed. I am pretty sure that is hazardous but I was not going to fight with her! On Friday nights, we go to the Seneca games and cheer with Miss Erin during the third quarter. They allow kids to come on the field and cheer and since Aunt Shell is the coach, Olivia gets to join in on the fun! The first week Olivia cried all the way home for Miss Erin! Olivia's two favorite things...Go Go's and Miss Erin!!

First Friday Parade

Football season is here and the Barker house is so excited! Olivia loves cheering and has her very own cheerleading outfit. She will be cheering from the house with her Grandma T and GanGan most of the season. She might make it to homecoming, but that is probably it! She loves to yell and anytime you mention the word cheer, she raises her hands in the air and starts yelling!

July Recap

We have had a very busy July. We started off the month with a week of swimming lessons. Olivia enjoyed jumping off the side and diving board. She loves the water. We spent the 4th of July on the lake with the Hydrick Family. We had lots of fun and Olivia loved the fireworks. We spend many evenings outside and walking in the neighboorhood. Olivia also loves to cut grass with her daddy. Michelle and I attended the Dabo Swinney Ladies Football Clinic. We had lots of fun and learned many secrets about Clemson Football, but we're not telling the men!!! GanGan and Papa bought a camper and we visited them at the State Park. It rained and as you will see, Olivia loved the mud puddles. We have also welcomed a couple of babies into the world. My step-sister Jennifer had Baby Jack Alexander Shadwick on June 23, our friends Bruce and Lauren had Baby Parker Sullivan Lee and Olivia's boyfriend Baby William Bowman "Bo" Sevic was born on July 27th. It is so exciting having all of these little boys around!!

Family Beach Trip

We had our First Family Beach Trip last week to Surfside Beach. We had a blast. It was just us girls from Saturday until Tuesday when the men arrived. We had our days planned out, spend the morning at the beach, eat lunch, then play in the pool, and a great meal every night. We had so much fun and made lots of fun memories (ie..the lump-t-lump, GanGan!!!)
